We feel fortunate to farm on the beautiful Northumberland Shore in Nova Scotia. We grow a diverse range of herbs and vegetables, with a focus on flavour. We use practices to build healthy soils that will be more resilient in a changing climate and will store carbon while nourishing our crops. We work to increase biodiversity by leaving some crops to flower after harvest, maintaining swallow nest boxes, and having some perennial plantings. Wysmykal Farm is located in Mi'kma'ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi'kmaq People.
